WHAT IS VIP SMP?
The Vanilla Improvement Project (VIP) is a seasonal modded Minecraft server ver 1.21.4, with the goal of making a clean and elevated vanilla Minecraft experience, with the flair and quality of life you would expect from a much more modern game. Nicer aesthetics, shaders, massive performance upgrades, QOL improvements, new animations and more. Basically we asked ourselves what might a Minecraft 2 look like?
The server will be a hermit-styled SMP. Allowing our community to build the world, events, and interact the way they want to. Everyone will have free reign to explore, build, and play the way they enjoy playing. Respect for your fellow players is essential for this to work. You are free to have fun, just not at the expense of others.

This pack is a modified version of Vanilla Perfected by demonjoeTV, thanks for the sick base pack. We added some extra mods and resource packs to capture the experience we want for Season one of VIP SMP!

Pre-Gen: We spent over a week generating large sections of the overworld, the nether, and the end dimensions allowing the server to start with minimal lag. Our goal is to run a borderless world. As long as the server can perform at acceptable levels without a world border, one will not be added.
COMMUNITY
VIP SMP does not work without you, the players. Once approved you will have access to the exclusive Discord for this community. This serves multiple functions. One it allows the staff to easily answer questions, handle tickets, enforce rules, and resolve disputes. Two, and most important, it gives you the players a HUB to discuss event ideas, come up with build projects, content, and anything you want VIP SMP to be.

We not only encourage you to be creative, we NEED all of you to be creative. Come join in the fun, make new friends, make amazing builds, game districts, prank wars, and more. The only limit is what everyone wants to do. Come together to make the server amazing and have experiences you will cherish for a lifetime!

In game at the spawn you will be greeted with a vast MooShroom Biome to serve as the community HUB and Shopping District. This place exists for everyone to have a central place to come together, shop and have a community space. Rules for how to use this space are outlined in the application.
